Verified opening-board solution

Start here

Choose Campaign, Level 1 and Skip on Quick Tutorial when ready. The checked start has Storage 5/6, Clear lines 0/1 and Placements 0/8. New shapes can arrive while you think.

The rules you need

  • Tap a piece in Storage to rotate it, then drag it onto open cells. Pieces do not fall automatically.
  • A filled row or column clears. Freeing a Storage slot by placing one shape is a different event from clearing a line.
  • Prevent Storage overflow. Read the campaign goal separately from the placements display: this level can finish before the display reaches eight.

Clear the first row with five placements, not eight

Use a 10-column grid with row 1 at the top and column 1 at the left. The shown opening pieces are a green S, orange L, blue J, cyan I and purple T. If your starting pieces differ, build a complete row from what is actually available instead of copying these placements blindly.

  1. Build almost all of row 3 with four pieces

Place green S at r2c3–4 and r3c2–3. Put orange L at r2c6 and r3c4–6, then blue J at r2c7 and r3c7–9. Turn cyan I vertical and place it in column 1, rows 1–4. Row 3 now lacks only column 10. The screenshot shows these four placements.

  2. Fill the last gap with purple T

Turn the T until its three-cell shaft is vertical on the right and its middle arm points left. Place the shaft at r3c10, r4c10 and r5c10, with the arm at r4c9. Row 3 fills and clears. The game confirms Victory!, 3 stars, score 1,000, Clear lines 1/1 and Placements 5/8.

Why this sequence works

The horizontal parts of S, L and J cover columns 2–9 of the same row. I supplies column 1, and T supplies column 10 without colliding with the neighboring row. The live result establishes that 5/8 is not a request to make three unnecessary placements after the line is cleared; fewer placements contribute to the star result.

Mistakes to avoid

  • A tall cyan I belongs at the left edge in this sequence; leaving it horizontal would occupy cells needed by the other shapes.
  • Turn the T by its visible shape, not a fixed number of clicks after a previous experiment. Its arm must point left and its shaft must fit inside column 10.

Questions about this board

Why did the level finish at Placements 5/8?

The required line was cleared within those five placements. The Victory screen explains that fewer placements and larger combos affect stars; reaching eight is not required for this result.

Can I ignore the arrival timer during a campaign puzzle?

No. Additional pieces appeared during this checked sequence. Placing shapes frees Storage, but the timer still matters.

Other modes and further play

Campaign Map shows four sections of fifteen levels. Endless and Daily Challenge are separate menu choices, and Endless+ is shown locked. The no-gravity placement rule and Storage pressure remain useful distinctions from a falling-block game; this example solves only the displayed opening setup.
