THE IDEA

What you do in Molecular

Molecular is a molecule puzzle game about connections. Join neighboring atoms with single, double or triple bonds, satisfy each atom's bond count and keep the whole structure connected.

Work with numbers at both ends of a connection rather than sorting colors.

Choose Campaign, Chapter 1 — Novice, then Level 1, Avelium Aeride. A first-run tutorial may offer a direct route to level 1. The checked board begins at MOVES 0.

Before your next move

  • Tapping B–C only once leaves B one unit short. Counting lines instead of bond values misses the double connection.
  • Adding another bond at A after its first unit would overfill it. Trace the remaining need before changing a satisfied atom.

Questions about Molecular

Why is the center connected to three atoms rather than four?

Its required total is four bond units, not four neighbors: 1 from A, 2 from B and 1 from D already supply four.

Does every board use these four links?

No. Match the shown arrangement and totals first. Other boards require new deductions; the principle that a bond affects both ends still applies.
